Well, I didn't get to try the many batches of root beer I was planning for this weekend.  Instead I bought a grill Saturday and spent all day putting it together, and today I did much needed chores around the house.

But,  I did try one batch yesterday morning, and it actually worked out pretty well.  I am still trying to make a non-licoricey flavor of root beer that tastes decent.  So yesterday I tossed out everything that was unnecessary, mostly, and tried a new flavor ratio.
