This site was made to help you  brew your own root beer as well as other soft drinks and beverages.  Root Beer brewing is a fun hobby that you can share with your friends, and it's usually fun to explain to baffled people.  I've found that most websites on this topic are very lacking in details or provide recipes that taste fake or nasty, and this site hopes to change that.

This site was also made to help me create the perfect root beer recipe, and share it with the world! 

I will provide recipes I've created through trial and error, as well as collaborating with other fellow root beer brewers.  Eventually I plan to move on to cream soda, ginger ale, and other colas and try to create recipes that actually taste like modern versions, which is where many sites come up short.  And there is a forum that will allow users to freely exchange tips on brewing root beer and other soft drinks.

It will take me a while to get my recipes, root beer history, and all of that up.  I'm planning on trying to add an article or recipe about once a week. 

Also, this website is a work in progress.  I don't have the perfect root beer recipe yet, or even one that tastes like modern root beer.  I have some that taste good, but are not quite perfect.  As I try recipes I'll post them here, and hopefully with the help of the readers of the site I will eventually have really good recipes posted. Then I can work on interesting variations of root beer, as well as other soft drinks.
